Referring Doctors

Dear Fellow Dental Practitioners,

We at Apex Endodontics are thrilled to be practicing dentistry with you in the East Valley! Our office is conveniently located near the 202 – San Tan Freeway, at the SE corner of Pecos and Lindsay.

We provide precision endodontic care with a compassionate touch! Each state-of-the-art operatory is equipped with digital x-ray sensors, surgical microscopes, apex locators, dual ultrasonics, and rotary file instrumentation systems. All of this technology allows us to put our endodontic training and experience to fullest use in delivering precision endodontic treatment. Nitrous oxide plumbed into each treatment room, with entertainment options including television, music, and DVD via movie glasses during treatment, and, most importantly, a caring demeanor add the compassionate touch. We understand that endodontic treatment is often needed on an urgent basis, welcome emergencies, and provide same-day or next-day emergent appointments. We also offer sedation and accept insurance. We will be the only call you’ll need to make.

Experience has shown us that a good working relationship begins with a solid foundation of mutual respect and prospers with open communication. In that spirit, we would like to take this opportunity to share with you a little about ourselves and our practice philosophy and look forward to getting to know you personally.

We graduated from dental schools on opposite coasts of the United States—Dr. Nate Baker in Portland, Oregon, and Dr. Ike Hardy in Charleston, South Carolina. Then, as recipients of the U.S. Army Health Professions Scholarship, we each served several years in the Army Dental Corps stationed in southern Germany. It was there that we and our families first crossed paths and it was this period of service which confirmed our inclination to pursue a career in the specialty of Endodontics. This decision led us to Augusta, Georgia, where we attended the Medical College of Georgia, became the greatest of friends, and received our Endodontic Specialty training from the U.S. Army Endodontic Residency at Fort Gordon. Now, after a few additional years of separate endodontic practice for the Army and elsewhere, we are thrilled to have teamed up again at Apex Endodontics. We—Nate and Julie Baker and five children, and Ike and Michelle Hardy and five children—have chosen to settle down and call the East Valley area home.

Our endodontic philosophy is based upon solid scientific research, evidence-based clinical techniques, the utmost in mutual professional respect, and friendly, compassionate patient care. Our vision is to be a positive extension of your office team, confirming to your patients in yet another way that their trust in your care is well placed. The doctors and staff of Apex Endodontics are excited at the prospect of working with you in the very near future to provide superb endodontic care to your patients.

We hope to soon find an opportunity to meet with you, become acquainted with your background and with your professional mode of practice. We would also like to discuss with you some ideas of how our combined teams could best collaborate to provide the highest degree of endodontic care and to promote optimal oral health among the patients you choose to refer to Apex Endodontics. Please take a moment to express your preferences on how we could best serve you and your patients on your Referring Dentist Preference Sheet. It will be time will spent as we keep these on hand and refer to them in all of our interactions with each of your patients. Please feel free to contact us. We eagerly await the opportunity to earn your trust.

Sincerely,

Nathan E. Baker, D.M.D.
