Meet Dr. David Mortenson
Education
Dr. Mortenson graduated from the University of Louisville with top honors (Summa Cum Laude), where he obtained a Doctor of Medical Dentistry degree in 2007. While there, he was awarded the American Association of Endodontics, award for the class of 2007. He was a member of Omicron Kappa Upsilon and the Delphi Society for top academic and clinical students. Additionally, his academic success earned him a place on the Dean’s List. Dr. Mortenson’s general practice residency was completed at George E. Wahlen VA Medical Center in Salt Lake City in 2008. He then furthered his education at the University of Washington, obtaining an Endodontic Certificate and a Master of Science in Dentistry (MSD) in 2010. His research was published in the International Endodontic Journal in 2012.

Dr. Mortenson is a board certified endodontist, member of the American Dental Association, the Arizona Dental Association, and the American Association of Endodontics. He continually furthers his training through educational seminars in order to provide the best care for his patients.

Dr. Mortenson is an Arizona native and loves the desert life. During his spare time he enjoys spending time with his wife and family. He is an avid outdoors-man and enjoys camping, mountain biking, and off-roading.
